This is to inform you that the next deadline to apply to the ISN Fellowship Program is December 15, 2012.
We would be delighted if you could encourage applications in your region by disseminating the information to
your network and contacts.
As you are aware the ISN Fellowship Program aims to provide relevant and contemporary nephrological training
to physicians from emerging countries, with the ultimate goal of improving the standards of nephrological practice
in the Fellows' home countries upon their return.

both of which can be circulated to your contacts.
More and more ISN encourages applications for intra-regional trainings. In this context, we have established a number
of agreements with some other partnering organizations.

Applicants must be young physicians (usually below 40 years) training in nephrology in Egypt, Turkey, Russia or South Africa, and wishing to receive training in clinical nephrology, in educational methods or in research.
Applicants must be of Indian origin training in:
Applicants must be young physicians training in nephrology in the Asian Pacific area. Priority is given to candidates applying for a fellowship to be hosted within the Asian Pacific region.
Applicants must be from Central America applying for training in Northern America.
Applicants must be young physicians preferably from Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos or Myanmar (although other SE Asia countries will be considered) wishing to train in any appropriate country in Oceania and SE Asia only.
Applicants must be from Northern Africa, Middle East or Eastern Europe to be hosted in a European unit.
Applicants must be from mainland China going to train in a pre-selected center in Hong Kong.
Applicants for the ISN-IPNA Fellowship must be young physicians (sually age < 40 years) training in nephrology in a developing country wishing to undertake a fellowship training in another appropriate country, preferably in the same region.
For applicants who wish to carry out a 12-month Fellowship within a UK Institution; the fellowship should include both Clinical Nephrology and Research. Successful fellows will be eligible to attend an annual Fellows Day held by Kidney Research UK, enabling them to network with other UK trainee clinicians.
For doctors wishing to train in the UK.
For applicants from Latin America who wish to train in Latin America.
For TSN fellows interested in receiving an additional grant from ISN.
For applicants who are young physicians training in nephrology in one of the Caribbean islands or any developing country and applying for training at the University of Michigan.
Applicants for the ISN-Abbott Fellowship must be young physicians (usually age < 40 years) training in nephrology. Priority will be given to the candidates applying for an intra-regional Fellowship training.
